4.10's Rock!
I just had 4.10's installed this past friday. I like them more and more everyday. At first I wasn't to impressed because it felt like they hit hard but didn't pull hard! Then I relized that with the 3.42's my car was soft and only pulled after4000rpm or so, with the 4.10's they pull the WHOLE time!

Bought my Z28 with 4.10's. Didn't know when I bought it and thought I was doin good getting 18 mpg, then I found out I had 4.10's . Not too bad considering I don't put more than 15 highway per tank full. It's not that I baby it, I just don't go more than 5 over (2 10mph over tickets will cost me 180% of what I pay now for insurance).

Yeah, I just put Motive 4.11 gears in my '01 WS6. Like you, when I drove it I thought "this really isn't much more pull" But, like you said, the pull starts lower in the RPM.
I've just finished up my 1st tank of gas since the gear swap, and I didn't notice a decrease in gas milage. I had to make an adjustment, however, which probably contributed to getting the same gas milage. I used to cruise around town in 4th. Now I shift up into 5th and keep the RPM's under 2000.
80 MPH in 6th is about 2100 RPM ... can't complain about that.
