You need at least one rib in the hose for proper flexation between the engine and MAF. The one rib WILL NOT create that much turbulance compaired to the stock bellows.

Bullsh*t, you don't need any ribs. Look at the Austin bellows.

The Austin Bellows has chrome in the center. The rubber is plastisol. This is very pliable. even more so when the engine warms it up. I've never had any problem with torque cracking the lid or pulling the Austin bellows apart. How about no rib no turbulence.

That hump hose looks just like the SLP hose.

Actually, you could go to a speed shop that sells ricer stuff and buy coupling that they use for cold air intakes. They're not that expensive, can be had in various colors, and would allow more flex than the fernco. There is a grandam/alero performance place online that'll sell them, but I have to find out if he can get them in 3.5" His CAIs are 3". I'll try a local shop first.

I'm sorry, but IMO paying over $20 for something like this is ludicrous. When you look at it as dollar/HP gained is it really worth the 30-50 bucks? If it is purely for asthetics, that is something else.

Thumbs down

SS1LE02;

What an extensive vocabulary you have, It is a true pleasure to exhange ideas with a person of your obvious character.

If you do not agree with my analogy, that is ok, however if you DO suffer from "cranial rectum inversion" please keep it to yourself.

Good day sir;
