LOL you crack me up teke. I remember doing a search on aluminum flywheels since I was considering one when I did my clutch, and I fell upon the vented flywheel thread. LMAO

Sorry thought I mentioned that. Whoops. Yeah it's got 142k miles on it, mostly highway, but still 142k miles. This is why I am considering a new engine. I could always skip the BS, build the mound of like new LS1 parts I have that used to be a 320 mile LS1 from a '98 SS, and stab that in there with an LS6 intake. Give me a chance to do the clutch at the same time. But I'd hate to do that without having the chance to up the cubes or put on some killer heads (like the l76/l92 combo) I have that LS1 (only need new head gaskets and main/head bolts, etc to assemble) that I could do, or I could do something out of the iron block and sell the other stuff to invest in the new motor to do just that.

I dont mind if the cam is a little small, as long as it's not mismatched to the runners in the heads (which I doubt it would be), or as long as I dont leave an overly significant amount of power on the table for an insignificant amount of streetability. That's what I need the help with here. I do mostly LT1's, not LS1's
