Which mods destroyed your gas mileage?

31 is the best I've seen. Conmgrats! I get 27 consistantly with only highway driving at 75-85 MPH. I hit 29 once. Only once.

It was always like that, even before the mods. I guess my car is just a piece of sh*t, no wait, it IS a piece of sh*t!

Last year when I went to pick up my cousin from basic training, I had a stretch where I actually had 36 mpg!!! That was better than my uncles mid 90's buick skylark. I think he got high 20's.

I have only been able to get mid 20's on the highway, but that is usaully because I just can't keep my foot off the gas. Today I am taking a trip up to state college pa and am going to try to use cruise and get some decent mileage. Still can't complain, better than the 4 mpg I used to get with my suburban. 4.10 gears in that thing with a three speed sucked gas down at 80mph.

For mixed city and highway driving each week, I always average between 22-24 MPG.

The next time I go to Tampa, I'm taking the highway there instead of the back way, and I should be able to get high 20s.

I got 30.2 miles per gallon on a 525 mile interstate run. 90 % in 6th gear at 70-75 mph.

I have hit 31 MPG with my A4 on long stretches with the cruise control on. I calculated one night running up to the dragstrip and back (with a 154 MPH run at one point) and I got 10 MPG!

Best I've gotten was 26. That was doing anywhere from 70-80 with an A4 and 3.23 gears. I think rpms were always a little above 2,000.
