Well atleast you know he took care of it. I mean, how many bagged LS1s do you see making 300,000? Correction , how many engines of ANY kind being bagged making 300,000miles?

 

You guys get 25,000 miles out of your tires??!!! I suck.....they start showing nylon caps around 10,000.

 

Geeze, I only spent $13,900 for my 2001 2 months ago and it only had 7500 miles on it!

 

I'd like to see/hear about the maintainenance (sp ? ) records and find out what oil was used , and how often it was changed .


Also, how many miles he got on the plugs !

Oh, I'd agree - 8K strikes me as too much for the car.

As pointed out before, even if the motor is still tight, there are so many other components that could be worn out , or near to it.

It's a gamble.
