2002 Z28 M6 Random SES Light

Thursday night my SES light illuminated while driving down the road.

Car has 96k on the clock, I'm a little overdue on an oil change, but nothing crazy.

I do remember sometime last year that both bolts fell out after the catalytic converter(passenger side), so I just took one bolt from the driver's side and have one bolt holding the cat piping to the flange on both sides. I honestly forgot about the problem until the SES light came on. Perhaps the O2 sensors are finally getting goofy readings after a year

I've also yet to change the air filter in the car since I've had it (almost 30k miles driven), but don't know if that would cause the light to illuminate.

Any suggestions?

Take it to a chain auto parts store, most of them read codes for free, and find out what your problem is. Don't start guessing, that could cost you a fortune and still have the light on.
