98 Z28 138K miles

First want to say hi guys and I like the forum, from what i can tell a lot of great info.

Now for my question, I am looking at a 98 Z28 m6 with 138K miles on it. it is in amazing shape and only mods are the TB bypass and an exhaust with Cats out. It runs great but i am worried about how much longer. No visible oil but i have heard a lot mentioned about the oil pumps. What else should I worry about? It has the common problem of cracked dashboard and faulty Coolant sensor, but as i said before this thing is clean. Do you think $5K is to much?

I don't think it's too much if it's clean as you say it is. On average, that car with that mileage would probably go around $4500-5000 around here.

Just make sure it runs well and the tranny shifts well, etc. There's no real problem areas on LS1s besides the interior stuff like the window motors, dashboard, etc... but that's all F-bodies...things you'd look for on an 11 year old car.

...oh, and the coolant level sensor is less than $50 at any auto parts place...I keep meaning to replace mine, but since I've unplugged it to get rid of the light, I keep forgetting to install it...doh!
