I said it once I'll say it again. Change the PCV valve. When mine stuck open it used enough oil to turn on the check oil light in one day. Fine on Friday 2 quarts low on Saturday.
Even with a catch can you need a good PCV valve. Shoot it's a 5 minute 5 dollar repair so if it doesn't fix it then come back and post up.
