2 questions about Lower Control Arms

1. Is it customary to get an alignment after installation of LCA;s?

2. I have adjustable ones, how can you tell when they are on the correct way and well adjusted?

With adjustable rear LCA's, you do not need to have an alignment done of the front end. But, you can either get them as close to equal length as possible, or have an alignment shop do a thrust angle alignment to get the rear wheels pointed straight in relation to the front wheels. I would first get them close to even and the correct length, then have the thrust alignment done to make the perfect.
