I was looking into getting a stiffer trans mount due to the fact that the stock one seems to flex a lot (M6). However, I heard a rumor that the 1LE trans mount might come standard in 2002's. Is this true?

Also, I noticed that the part number changed from the 1LE mount. I tried to order the old one 22146231 on GM parts direct and it switched it with a newer part number (and more expensive). Is this still the 1LE?

I just want to make sure I don't waste the time and money getting a stock one. I don't want a poly mount b/c it's a daily driver and I have enough noise from the 12 bolt, don't want any more. Is there any other options then the 1LE that'll be stiff w/o a bunch of extra noise?

I don't know if the 2002's came standard with the 1LE mount, but I do know that in 2001 the tranny mounts changed so that is probably why you are seeing 2 different part numbers. I got the 1LE mount about 3 months ago, and I freakin love it! Poly sucked ***, and stock ripped apart.

 

I ordered the energy suspension tranny mount.... hopefully it's good lol, it should be here tomorrow
