12 second car

|Its been a long and depressing winter. Not being able to drive my ls1 how I want to. And now that it is almost over I am going to have to sell it in the next month becasue of the arrival of my son. I was plaaning one last trip to the track on march 1st when it reopens and am hoping to see a 12 second time before I have to let it go. I have a 99 z28 m6 magnaflow cat-back, ls6 manifold, slp induction, and free-ram air mod. I wanted to know if it was possible see the time I am looking for with the addition of a pro 5.0 shifter and maybe tires. I just have to get that 12 second slip before I sell it. So if you guys have any advice please respond. Thanks.

Definately! Some people have done it in stock LS1's, so with a few mod's you should be able to get it just fine.

on some sticky tire
side step the clutch around 6K RPM
bang through the gears without moving your right foot
and you will get your 12 sec slip
you might even be surprised with how low it goes
