12-bolt Rear End Swap from pickup to '98+F-Body??
Have any of you guys ever put a 12 bolt rear end from either a 1/2 or 3/4 ton pickup into a '98 or newer F-body?? If so, do you have any info about cutting the axle and whether or not the ABS can still be used with the new axle?? Thanks in advance!
So what are you going to do for a torque arm?

Not sure, this is for my cousins '98 Trans Am. He will have to figure that out i guess. But we need to find him an axle first(if this one from a pickup will work).

Well, anything can be made to work given enough time and money. I don't think it's a good idea, personally. The current truck isn't the same 12-bolt as was in the 60's big-block Chevelles. Probably would be easier and cheaper in the end to get an aftermarket 12-bolt set up for a torque arm and use the stock brakes, ABS, etc.
