what is the quarter mile time so that you need a roll cage? is it diffrent at other places

Some tracks are more lienent than others.Ive been in the 11's quite a few times and only got tossed once.But I was only cracking into the 11's.They really dont like you stretching the rules.I'll have a cage for next season.

and 250 for 10 pt

i am not sure i think it is different between the nhra tracks and others but where i go at nedw it is 11.499 but some tracks are 11.99 so it is probably just be better getting it now instead of when you get black flaged

NHRA = 11.99 for an 8 point roll bar
IHRA = 11.49 for an 8 point roll bar

Just different sanctioning bodies is all.

 

What about for convertables? I know they are required to get cages and bars at higher times, but exactly what times they are, I don't know.
