100k miles 98z28

turn 100 recently, i want to change my oil pump. I got a ls2 timing chain, are there any other parts i need to complete this job

WP gaskets, timing cover gaskets, and coolant. You will also need a puller/installer for the harmonic balancer/hub plus a new bolt (and yes the new bolt is necessary) with a HD angle torque wrench.

Is there something wrong with it? It is really tricky getting the pickup tube lined up properly and stuff like that. I wouldn't mess with it unless you know you need it.

i just installed a slp underdrive pulley, its about a month old, do i still need a new balancer bolt

Yep, that bolt along with the head bolts are a one time use item.
