a blower isn't just a simple addition to any motor. you can't just have a shop build you a crazy high-compression stroker motor and expect to just add a blower for more power. if you want a SERIOUS blown LS1, you have to make concessions like running a dedicated blower cam and keeping the compression low. plus FI cars are very complex in the way of tuning. i think there's more to this than you realize. 1000+ hp is good for a pass in the 8s...how many 8 second street driven cars do you know of?

also, i hope your not dreaming of going to the gas station and pumping 93 octane into this thing cuz it won't happen.

this would take THOUSANDS of dollars to do.

 

to do a 1000+hp setup as has been said is far from simple or cheap. our current race project has been 2 years in the making and should produce close to 800-900rwhp on the spray. the engine alone if built for a customer would cost about $12,000-$15,000 depending on options. the engine is a 408ci iron block, an FI 427ci setup would cost even more
