Hey guys ("future") LS1 owner here researching and learning more and more on LS1s...Now from all the info i've read over the past few months it appears to me the best year LS1 car would be like and 01-02 (Opinion is the main word here so PLEASE don't anyone get offened!!) 01-02 cars because the have bigger injectors and the LS6 intake etc etc. Now ive gone to www.pistonslap.com and skimmed over some info and what now and also read some other things about oil consumption and my last concern is are 02 cars fitted with the "New" redesigned rings?? Ive read where rings were another concern one the LS1 and was just wondering is the 02s came with the same rings as 01 and earlier or with a diff. kind...Thanks!
