'01 Throttle Body Bypass

What's the deal with this? Instead of getting a connector to connect the two, I bought a 5/16ths tube to just connect the in and the out directly.. and each end is a different size?? What the hell?

What size is needed to fit both ends securely? I know a few people have mentioned doing this, instead of that coupler.. Second size i've bought and it still doesn't fit. Looking for definitive answers, now.

I don't know what size the pipe connector was that I used, but I know because the tubes off the TB are different sizes, I really had to force one of the hoses onto the connector more than the other one!

Don't know if you've seen/read it, but Install University does a pretty detailed write-up on it, and they used the BMR kit (about 3rd item down) to do the job.

Don't know if that'll lead you in the right direction?

I've got a write up in my stickey up top about the TBBP. I think it's 7/16 and 3/8... not sure. It's been a while.
