01 headers on a 99?

What is the difference between the headers made for 98-99 and 00+? Is it just the AIR/EGR? Do the headers bolt up fully to any type of heads?

I'm asking because I just got my slp headers made for the 241 cars, but i have a 99. I'm planing on the newer heads soon, but for now could I put these on my car as it is? Its ok if I'm going to have to remove egr/air, that is going to happen soon anyway.

yep...

the 01+ won't have the EGR fitting, and i think the AIR fittings are in slightly different locations

or was that something with the LT1 headers from years past...hmmm

but if you look, any header sold as an "off road header", meaning no AIR or EGR...for the LS1 will be listed to fit 98-02. so other than the emissions stuff, they are the same.
