Re: $1500-1800

stall and gears will probably give you the most noticable improvements.

maybe look into shorties and a new ypipe. i think slp makes the ypipe that replaces the tubing from the cats back...eliminating the crushed section and possibly giving more hp.

i would at least look into the ypipe and replace the exhaust with a full 3" system. if the muffler is 3" inlet, you can save some money and just buy the pipes from the ypipe collector back to the muffler. i got mine off ebay, made by dynomax...cost me $135 shipped...since i already had a good muffler and tips.

i know you can also buy the pipes from MAC...worth looking into

Could get some exhaust work, some suspension parts, and 3.73 gears. That'd be a noticeable improvement.

Re: $1500-1800

ypipe won't affect emissions. We do the sniffer out here in st. louis, and I blow clean with longtubes, !air, !egr, !cats, 3" ypipe, and full exhaust all the way back. Just take good care of your car and it will work like a dream. Shorties, ypipe, some high-flow cats, 3" pipe for your muffler to make it a cat-back, gears, stall, shift kit. That'll really help you out and keep you under budget.

Re: $1500-1800

You'd be crazy to NOT do the stall. It should be a mandatory first mod for autos Just keep it over 3500 (Vig3200+, Yank3500+, etc)

we sell tci they seem less efficient and many times the yank or vigilante converter have better mph at the trak. The yank/vigilante both have a little better drivability.
