Is $12,900 a good deal for a 98 Trans Am?
I went and looked at it today. It has 69k, its black with an auto trans. Has all the options, also had 17" wheels with new 245/45/17 tires. It has a few scratches in the paint, but not too bad. It doesnt look like the trans fluid has ever been changed, but it ran real good- its also bone stock. What do you guys think is that a good price or should I keep looking?? thanks, Carson

Well, if the car is in good condition and drives good then, yeah, that's a pretty good price (I don't think I've seen a '98+ T/A down here for less than $15k). If the seller is asking $12,900...you should have no problem talking him/her down to at least $12k.
Personally, I would shoot for $11,500...be firm too, if they really want to sell it then they'll take it.

Hey come on now, T/A's look nicer? dude besides different body styling, they're exact and wait a few interior differences too, come on dont rag on us camaro kids. But on the topic i payed 13,300 for my 99 SS with 40k on it, so yea i'd say thats a good deal, but work with em a bit cause ya never know, and i love T/A's too i think they're just as sexy lookin as the camaro's.

As long as it isn't crashed or have any mechanical problems that's a pretty good deal.
TAs have better seats but I don't have to worry about my headlight motors messing up. That's the main reason I got a Camaro. (Not that they do. I just don't like pop up's.) I can put TA seats and fancy dash bezel on my SS if I feel like it.

Oh you mean the bad a$$ one that looks like my Z is going to swallow your vehicle? ... hehehe jk ... The thing that made me stay awawy from TA's was the rearend ... front = awesome but I couldn't handle that spoiler...

The firhawks look awesome all they way around, they're got much nicer curves than camaros, but i do like the camaro interiors muh better, its more modern, the TA almost looks like it was styled like the traditional muscle cars, which is cool though. The TA high spoiler. The spoiler makes this car what it is, it gives it so much attitude and it looks so bad *** from the rear, just like the hexed tail lights, It looks like the car is wearing a crown and gives the car the sharp edge it needs. It just stands out and draws attention. It's simply awesome. So $13k for a Ws6, with 69 K miles, yes i would definitly look into it.
