I have a ZZ502 dressed as a factory big block, but I'd like to get it a little more original looking and driveable, so I'm thinking about returning to a factory intake maniflold and Q-jet.

However, the ZZ502 is listed as having "oval port heads", but for some reason I have a vague memory that the intake ports are not the same as the classic old oval port iron heads.

Does anyone know? I don't want to buy an OE intake only to find it doesn't mate up properly with the ZZ502 heads.

PS: I can't remember if the ZZ502 heads have the exhaust crossover, so I'm curious about that too. It's a stick car, so no heat-riser, if that matters.
