Re: z28 camaro

Well, I haven't personally seen a car with that light. I would assume it stands for inflatable restraint aka airbag. If so, it staying on would mean the air bag system likely will not function in the event of a collision.

You might consider adding a signature with the year of your car ect, or at least mentioning it when asking a question. It can be a big help.

Re: z28 camaro

A question like that is almost impossible to answer without knowing at least the year and model of the car.

Re: z28 camaro

Since the suject says Camaro Z28, I'm assuming you mean a light on the dash of a Z28. If it says "infl rest" that has to do with the airbag. Most likely a faulty airbag sensor.

Re: z28 camaro

If we knew what year, we could look at Shoebox's links to the various year's Owner Manuals, and answer him without guessing.

Re: z28 camaro

It's prob a 3rd gen Camaro I had that light on mine. It does mean your airbag has a problem, probably won't work.
