Yup, SES light

SES light and fan came on when I started the car to leave Kinko's today.........I had driven to and from work, and to and from the gas station earlier today without a problem......then all of a sudden this happened later in the afternoon.

What's up?

No one will be able to help you until you tell us what the code is. With a 94 you will need to get it scanned by someone you know or a local shop - Autozone can't do it.

Will this be permanent until I fix it or will it go away next time I start it?

Because my ABS light was on once and the next time I turned the car on it wasn't.

Impossible to tell. Sometimes the system will set a code and trigger the light. Next time you start it, no light. Sometimes the light stays on until the problem is addressed.

However, the code will be stored in memory until it's retrieved or you reset the PCM by pulling the fuse/battery.

Well, I pulled out the #7 fuse (Air pump relay?) because I read online that the cause of the fan coming on and the SES light coming on may be because of a blown fuse.
