how do i find out the number of the car its a 1997 firebird formula WS-6 i know they made 497 but not sure how to know which one it is? any info please?

 

Contact SLP, they should be able to give it to you, make sure you have the VIN handy though.

 

They made 473 coupes, and 24 rag-tops, that's the best you are going to get.

SLP who did the conversions did NOT keep track of VIN numbers and build order; this straight from the VP of SLP.

Those of us who own one will never know what order they were built, the only thing GM can tell you is the build date; mine's March 27th.

13.9 @ 99 is a little slow, but it depends on what altitude you are at..

In stock form I ran a 13.76 @ 102.8 with a 2.4 60' time... at 600' altitude...

 

I wouldn't say that 13.9 is slow for a LT1 car at all.

13.7 is one of the lowest times I have ever seen out of a LT1.

 

Actually with the A4, this is true, forgot about that...
