wrong/high oil pressure after sending unit replacment ?
i replaced the oil sending unit on my moms 1995 3.4 v6 camaro , before the sending unit just fell off during a oil change the pressure was around 50psi at start up and around 25-30 psi at idle warmed up .
after i replaced the sending unit , my stock gauge says 85psi at start up and 45-55 psi at idle warmed up .
seems this is way high , what could cause this ? Thanks

I think they are junk. Broke my original jacking the engine. Did a Napa replacement. It was OK for awhile, and then the Oil Press dropped a little on the gage (5 - 8 psi). Now it reads +5 psi. Again, I think they suck.

I had the same problem; I actaully hit the dam thing with my hand when pulling some part of, maybee the serpentine?? but didn't see much diffrence when I repalced, but I did a Delco... so I would say it possible there is actaully a difference between the stock and the replacment part??

it threaded in fine , could there be more than one type that would probally fit ?if so thenill just wait for this one to far apart like all the other do one day , and replace it with the correct one , might send out higher/lower ohm singel then it should be .
