Would my DMS lowering spings throw my front alignment out?
Would my DMS lowering spings throw my front alignment out?
I have the exact same wear on my 2 front tires, uneven wear on the inside part of the tread. ( side of tread closest to motor)
Bring her in for a wheel alignment? I think I should.

Re: Would my DMS lowering spings throw my front alignment out?
Yes I would get it aligned asap. The reason the tires are wearing on the inside
is because of your lowering springs. With the factory springs and alignment your tires are flat to the ground. when you change the springs to a shorter set
(lowering) the top of the tire and wheel tilt towards the car. Making yor tires not sit flat any more and riding on the inside ege. If you put a taller spring than factory the top of the rim and tire will tilt out ward from the car making it ride on the outer edge of the tire. When you drive the car right now I bet it darts aroud and follows ruts in the road sometimes. When you get it aligned the tires will sit flat on the ground again and the tires will wear even.

Re: Would my DMS lowering spings throw my front alignment out?
I have DMS Springs on my 1996 Z-28. When I had the front end aligned after the install, it raised the front about 1/4 of an inch and it has not settled yet. I thought that it had the perfect stance before I had it aligned. Let me know if it raises yours or if maybe its just who aligned it.
