Re: witch is more difficult to work on ls1 or lt1 ???

I know LS1 is easier to work on as far as placement of spark plugs, the LS1 doesn't have the optispark design that all of us LT1 owners love so much. Idk if it's just me but it seems like LS1's are more accessible, they're actually 346 ci whereas the LT1 is 350 ci, that may have something to do with it? If I were you I'd get the LS1. I love my LT1, but my next f-bod will be an LS1.

This isn't my thread, but since I just traded from a LT1 to a LS1, I'm also interested in which one is easier to work on, specifically the general maintenance and upgrade areas like plugs, water pump. belts/hoses, headers, etc.

Well, you can see the plugs on a LS1.
