Which wire for Gauge pod lights?

Which wire should I be tapping off of for the A-pillar gauge lights? How do I get to it? Thanks

Having issues with my gauge pod lights not turning on with the headlight switch. They used to work just fine but aren't anymore. Someone else installed them and I tried looking at the wiring but just figured I'll run new wire.

pod wire

It's a pain but remove the pod and trace the wires back its likely that the method used to connect the wires has come loos. I just had the same thing happen on my radio. lot easier on the pod lights. Draw yourself a diagram of the wires. use a digital volt meter or a 12Volt test light.

If you want the lights to turn on with the headlights, and not be "dimmed", you can tap right off the headlight switch. Simply see which terminal on the switch shows 12V when the parking or headlights are turned on. For dimmable lights, tap into the wire from the dash dimmer rheostat, or tap into the fuse for the dash lights.

thanks for the help. Tapping into the fuse sounds like the easiest to do.
