wiper motor (4th gen)

this may be a dumb question but how do you separate the wiper motor from the linkage to get it out?

I did mine a couple years ago, so I can't quite remember, but I think I just popped it off with a big screwdriver or something...as I remember it was a pretty easy job.

Yep, use a big screwdriver. I did mine about a month ago.

Re: wiper motor (4th gen)

Did mine 2-3 yrs ago.. and if I recall correctly it was 2 'clicks' to 'snap' the ball and socket back onto the motor.. [what I am saying is make sure it's ON all the way when you put it back together.. ]
I did mine and had to remove the cowl piece etc again to put it back on all the way.. it popped right off when I turned them on]
And yes they snap off and on.. like a ball and socket setup..
