Window switch broke?

I replaced both my power window motors in the past few days (thanks to shoebox for the write up), and they were working fine. Well today I was driving around with my little brother and I was rolling the windows up and he hit the button to roll it down as I was rolling it up from my side, and now I can't do anything to control the passenger window from my side. The window works fine from that side, but nothing from mine. Could the driver's button be messed up just for the passenger window? I thought it worked as a unit, since they both come as one button.

I think they are the same switch so try swapping them and see what happens.

No unfortunately they are not the same. And yes this can and does happen. Pull the panel and check the switch for burnt or loose connections, clean/wiggle the connection, before you buy a new one.

Took everything apart with the switch and put it back together and it works now.
