Replace my power window motor today and noticed that the original GM motor I removed had a groove cut into it were the regulator was contacting it. Now that new motor is on, I notice that the regulator is rubbing into the new motor.
Does this sound right ? seems to me that this is slowing the motor down with the regulator contacting it, althought it works fine.

 

Nothing should be rubbing on the motor. Sounds like something is bent.
