window problem.

Ima try to describe this as best i can.It seems the railing is messed up, the window doesnt go up all the way with out me pulling it or rocking it back and fourth. The window motor is still working fine. When i took off the door panel,i looked where it seems to be a lil rolling ****,that goes up and down trailing the window.Well, it will go up and down, maybe once, but the next time i put it down the lil **** pops out the railing losing the trail.does anyone know if i can just replace that,or would i have to buy the whole new railing? is it a common problem?

Thanks for any help, hope this makes sense to someone.

Mine just went bad. I paid $75 from the dealer. You need the whole regulator and it is riveted on so there is about 45 minutes to a hour depending upon your skill level. Drilling the old rivets out and having the right rivets and a rivet gun is about the extent of the job. A windshield replacemant facility should do it for around $50 in labor.
