Window Motors on Ebay (The $100 vs. the $50 ones)
Window Motors on Ebay (The $100 vs. the $50 ones)
On ebay I see it appears there are two kinda of motors, the cheaper ones which are not oem, and are said to be a "short term replacment" and some more expensive ones which claim to be factory replacments. Now in my older 93 which I sold I had bought some off ebay for around $40 for two and they seemed to work just fine, but I didn't own it very long before selling it.
Anyone have any long term experience w/ the cheaper motors?

For $50 you could get one from O'Reilly's (or another local parts stores). With a local parts store motor you'll avoid shipping costs, and if the motor goes out you'll have a quick place to go to replace the motor ...
Also with a local parts store, many parts carry a lifetime warranty, so you'll only be out labor if the part does fail.

Yes, call around locally and see who has the cheapest one with a lifetime warranty. The replacement motor probably isn't going to last even as long as the stock one did =) I would suggest Autozone or Advance auto, Napa is a hassle to deal with when it comes to warranty stuff.
