a/c problem
a/c problem
so i was in traffic today w/ the a/c on. it was blowing nice and cold like usual and all of a sudden no cold air. it just blew outside air in. the compressor turns on but its just warm air. how can the system just blow out all the freon? it still has freon in there. so compressor is good. wth?
You're compressor wouldn't turn on if you lost the refrigerant, there is a safety switch that prevents it. Sounds more like a flow control issue, that is, a door that should be routing cold air to the interior is in the wrong position.
