Window motor...yay!

Well to start off, I was having the notorious 'sticking' window motor problem. It would go up, but stop after about 6 inches. I read the fix for the motors on here about taking them apart and bypassing the thermal breaker. I did that with no problem but now the motor doesn't work at all. There is voltage at the pigtail so I know it is not the switch. I checked to see if there was a complete circuit on the motor and there is. Is there something maybe I did wrong when I put it back together? I made sure that the brushes were in the correct position and making contact with the commutator.
