Where can I find a "How To" for the window motor mod that does away with the safety? I want them to roll up super fast when I replace my slowing motors.

Do search for thermal bypass and there are a few more threads with "how-to's".

 

1. take apart door
2. take out window motor (remove door speaker, makes it soo easy)
3. take apart window motor, becareful not to lose bushings or motor parts.
4. heatup solder to remove thermal resitor, big yellow tab, you cant miss it.
5. re-soder in inch long replacemnt wire
6. put everything back the way you took it apart
7. enjoy your superfast windows that can now rip finders off with ease. (not really)

also my AUTO Down feature still works fine and automatically shuts off when window hits the bottom, in case you were wondering
