Will t-tops from trans am fit on a camaro?

Hi guys, I got 93z and I am wondering if t-tops from camaro and trans am/firebird are the same. Lost my passanger side t-top the other day while driving on highway.

They are the same. Make sure you adjust the locker bar thing this time so it doesn't happen again.

I didn't have any problem with lock bar. The problem was they were not secured down at all. You see, I store my camaro in winter on jack stands. I heard one time from one shop to always unlock the t-tops (the pins that come out of side of t-tops) when lifting the car, something about body flexing that could cause windshield to crack, I don't know, but that's what I kept doing.

So when I took my car out the first time out this year the other day I completely forgot that t-tops were not secured down. I took the car out for a ride and that's when it happend. I don't think it would have come off if I was doing the speed limit, I got to about 75 mph when it went flying off. Lucky for me there was no one behind me so it didn't hit any other cars.

It was my fault. Lesson learned, I will never make that mistake again.

Go to your nearest Pilot Shop and buy some "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" ribbons.
