Will the speakers fit?

I have a 95 formula with the stock stereo system. (not monsoon) I'm going to do a complete tear down, rewire, and rebuild of the system. I have a high end set of Eclipse 6.5'' components with external crossovers ands tweeters.. My question has to do with the maximum depth of the door speaker locations.. The basket is much larger than most speakers and is 3.5 inches deep. I intended on installing this set in my old Jeep Grand Cherokee but they were too deep for the door's stock location. Does anyone know if they'll fit so i can get a backup plan and avoid having to tear down twice? THANKS!

Thanks but guides like crutchfield and the ones at best buy and other custom shops can only tell me the speaker size not depth... And very few places even carry this line of eclipse speakers.. has anyone run into this problem before on a camaro or firebird? As in, they've run into an issue with a speaker being too deep...?? If so how deep was the speaker? Thanks guys! PLEASE HELP!!

i'm not positive about the depth

that the door can handle, but pulling the door skin is a 15 minute job.

You can measure it then, or just start the work of installing.

I'm thinking 3.5" will be close (if I remember correctly from when doing mine)
