Will this hurt my car if...

I am at a complete stop and pull the e-brake up and put the car in drive and mash the pedel all the way to the floor and then take off the e-brake? I ask because I'm trying to geta really good burnout on tape, and power braking is very hard to do with a little ol v6 when the tires and brakes are hot.

Thats going to make it harder to do a burnout cause the e brake only activates the rear brakes, has nothing to do with the front's. Just put a little water under the tires. If you want a really good smoke show add some bleach under the tires too

Yea, doing that will only prevent a burnout even more so. Like he said, it brakes the rear wheels which is the ones you want spinning. Just put some water under them like breakmyfootoff said.

I know if only locks the rear wheels, I don't meen a stand still burn out. I mean like lock the rear wheels and then get the RPMs up and then release them so I will be moving forward while the rear tires spin.

if you plan on doing this often, spend the $250, and get line locks for the front brakes.

No, I don't plan on doing this offen. I don't have money to blow on tires. I may have figured out what I did wrong with the power brake, I was pushing the brake to the floor. I tried power braking and let off the brake a little bit until I heard quealing and then pushed it down again so the car wouldn't move. The only problem is only the passenger side tire broke loose (this was on dry ground, no water or anything).

I think you should stop or you're gonna tear something up. Get some bleach if you must and pour it in front of the tires, pull up into it and just punch it.

Re: Will this hurt my car if...

just get the pavement wet under the rears, hold the brakes, mash the gas. If your v6 will spin them while holding the brakes, then do that till they start smoking good then let off the brakes and continue the burnout. If they wont spin with the brakes on, then just hold the brakes until you get the rpms up then let off the brakes and it should spin them.

If you still cant get a decent burnout, then its time for a v8
