Will the engine harness completely disconnect??

On the drivers side behind the booster in the corner, is that a connector that you can split apart or is it a one piece feed through?? I am trying to completely disconnect and remove the engine harness and seperate it from the headlight harness and other non engine stuff. ABS and HVAC are gone if that helps. Thanks

The harness you refer to is not the engine harness, it is the harness for the lamps and the rest of the front end electrical. I've never had to take that one out.

to completely remove the engine harness, all the plugs on the engine come apart, the 2 on the top of the pass side wheel well, the 4 at the PCM, and 4 inside the car(behind the pass kick panel), and the a/c pressure switch, plus the ones on the trans.

here is a pic of the harness from shoeboxes site

The engine harness is separate from the lamp harness. There is no untangling.

I just removed all the wiring front to back on my 97 T/A that I'm putting a BBC into. The connector behind the brake booster will not come apart, it is sealed together with some sort of epoxy. That part of the wiring harness has nothing to do with the engine harness, it goes to your headlights, turn signals, steering cloumn, fuse box, etc. The engine harness will come out of the car as the others have described above, but you don't want to mess with the harness behind the booster unless you want to re-wire the car. Personally I'm going to be using a Painless kit for the chassis and a FAST system for the engine.

THanks guys. I must still have some a/c connectors inside the car. I though I got them all out already. Thanks again
