White smoke at startup, once in a while..
Re: White smoke at startup, once in a while..
Sometimes caused by oil leaking past the valve seals when the engine's off. It's somewhat common on high mile engines. When you start the engine it burns off the oil real quick. I don't know of any serious consequences though.

i dissagree oil NEVER burns off white. White smoke is water. you probly have a little bit of water in you intake, no biggie. if it was blue then its oil, and what Mikey97z was talking about was bad valve seals. and the breif smoke is present until the seats expand from the heat of the motor.
