Where to get front suspension LCA inner sleeves & washers? :(

Didn't know I was supposed to keep them. Just thought I was supposed to leave the outers in there. I even picked through a full bag of trash to see if they were in there, but hell if I know where they went, they were on fire when I took them out.

Is this a dealer item? Home Depot?

Using the Prothane set.

Don't tell me I'm the only one that's ever done this.

Does GM sell replacment rubber bushings with the inner sleeves still in them?

I'm checking the classifieds now for stock front LCA's that might still have the sleeves still in them.

My last option is to have a machine shop make something out of a piece of metal stock...

Dave,
You should be able to get them from your local Chevy dealer. You may have to buy the bushing and sleeve as a unit.

I checked for him. GM does not sell the bushings separately from the complete A-arm.

Quite the crock of poo-poo doncha think? What do they expect people to do?

Bastids.

Check out the sleeves that came out of my Mustangs tranny crossmember compared to the replacements!!!

Shame on the suspension companies for not including them in their bushing sets.

You can buy the 1LE bushings without buying the complete A-arms.

Here's the part number 34210264D

It comes with 1 #88912689 and 1 #45G9112. I have one set new in the box never been used. It comes with the bushings as well as the inner sleeves. I don't remember what I paid for it, but I don't need it, so if you want to check with your local dealer and order one set I'll sell you the one I have. Find out what the dealer wants and make me an offer.

I'll put it another way...they do not list the bushings separately in the parts book. Maybe they listed them in the past.

I have never seen a GM p/n with a letter in it. The 88912689 does show to be a bushing of some sort.

Well maybe that's not a part number, but I have the box right here in front of me. Inside it there is one front and one rear bushing with both inner and outer sleeves. On the box it says this:

34210264D
GR 6.17
1#88912689
1#45G9112
Bushing Kit

Hey thanks for the info Mike! I'll get ahold of the dealer tomorrow and see if they can make sense of it, if not I'll get ahold of Dal or Jason and see what they say.

You wouln't happen to have measurements on the inner sleeves would you?

Length
Inner diameter
Outer diameter

Thanks again!
