I am switching from non-vented to vented opti with my motor build up but I need to switch the dowel pins from the short one to the long one. Im not sure where to get one at though any help would be appreciate.

 

if you can pull the one out of my stock cam, you can have it, i couldnt get it to budge

did you get your cam from Lunati yet? if not tell them you need it to protrude out of the end of the camshaft .610" or so
fyi i am running a cam in my car now and the dowel pin is .564 and the stocker was .627

if you did get your cam, what does the pin measure out to right now?

 

Well when I got the cam (from Lunati) it had the long pin and I had it cut down then I thought why in the hell did I do that because I could switch to vented opti really easily right now. Anyways I would really appreciate it if I can have/buy yours Mike at the H.P. Factory said if I drop my cam and a pin/cam with a long pin off that he would switch them. My PM here doesnt work so either post here or on fastrides or shoot me an email about when we can meet up for me to pick it up. I need it as soon as possible because it is holding up my build up.

Any machine shop would probably swap your pin out for a few bucks.
