I have a 99 z-28 with 100,000 miles and some change. Here is my problem:
Ever since i got my brake calipers torn apart, powder coated, rebuilt, and larger wheels put on my car, when i am driving on the interstate, at 80 mph my abs inop light and brake light come on. When i hooked up a tech 2, this is what i got:
DTC C0245.
While driving with the tech 2 hooked up. As i was driving i watched the wheels sensor numbers and at 80 the front went to 0. After the 2 lights triggered, the speed came back on the tech 2 for the fronts. The rears did not change during this process.
Has anyone had any experience with this. The thing that has me clueless is that code is for a frequency error, but not for a specific sensor. It does not throw the code for an individual sensor.
Any suggestions/comments?

 

Go to junkyard, buy another hub , the sensor is bad. A tire badly out of balance or a pot hole can cause them to go bad. Danny Mc

 

but how do i know which one? the code paper work i have says it is a general sensor code, but not a specific one. The paper goes on to say which one it is if another code pops up with the code i am throwing, but i am only throwing that one code.

 

I would check the connections on both hubs first, make sure the wiring is intact and that you have good clean connections.
