I have mine with the MobyDic and Digimoto V.x but it wont detect the scan tool when it is connected to the computer and the laptop. Any one help me?

 

Yes, I had one and the box seams to have a bad solder connection on the board/ 9 pin D connector. I played with the connector and it works part of the time. Took it apart to fix (not easy). Also, the software is junk (my opinion). Update time is really slow. With many of the functions selected, the software can crash (ie... monitor o2's on graph funtion page). Better to spend more money and get quality (like Autotap). You get what you pay for. My experience... Hope this helps. B.

 

i connect the tool to the OBDII port, and to the laptop, go to connect and it says that there is no connection. wth?

 

Check the power source for your ALDL connector - typically the cigarette lighter fuse.

 

There is a pull down menu and a comm link. Select connect. Also, you may have to force the Digimoto connector on the box ALDL connector side. B.
