Whats it worth??

1994 z28
  • 58xxx original miles
  • six-speed manual trans
  • hurst short throw shifter
  • procharger d-1sc (dual intercooled, upgraded procharger)
  • largest pulley (least boost at 6psi)
  • 40lb injectors
  • viper alarm system
  • mbquartz 12in sub powered by two-channel california mosfet amp
  • nonported box
  • 4-channel california mosfet amp powering the 6x9's
  • bilstein shocks
  • a whole box of parts that either came off the car while putting the supercharger on
  • stock (untuned) computer
  • original injectors
  • flawless paint
  • stiffer springs (not on car)
  • booster fuel pump
  • probably leaving some things out that I cant think of right now

My question is that if I want to sell it (its been owned and driven by a 40+year old adult its whole life) what do you think I should ask with it setup as is? also have roller rockers still new in box. I need to sell this car but dont really know what price to set it at... Thanks for all you help!!!!

Stock Shortblock? How many miles has the supercharger been on the motor? I'm going to guess $6-7k. I think you'd net the best selling price by parting the supercharger kit/injectors/etc from the car though.

its been on the car the last three thousand miles +/- 500. also has t-tops that dont leak. everything to put it back to stock is included. Has been garage kept its whole life and the paint and interior reflect that. still has original wiper blades because it has been driven in the rain that little.

what do you think Id recover by taking all the blower and accessories off and sellinfg seperate? it is a low mileage car and looks and drives the same! I mean it would be a pita to remove the blower, injectors and booster pump wouldn't it? I guess If I could recover a resonable amount more it would be worth it... :/

thanks again!

I say sell the charger separate. If it has only around 3K miles on the charger.. then I assume it is great condition. I say you could sell the car (without the charger) for 6K (I know its a 94) and the charger for 3K+ pending warranty??? I bet you can find a buyer who is looking for a good 4th gen...just have to be patient and haggle good.

ya. you think take 40lb injectors off and sell those too? The warranty on the charger is lifetime transferrable. just have to switch the names over

If you parted out the supercharger and related parts, you could probably get $2000 for all of that, maybe more.

You should probably sell the subwoofers and amps separately too. They're worth at least a few hundred bucks, and you'd see approximately none of that if you sold them with the car.

Then, a '94 Z28 M6 w/ hurst shifter, Viper alarm, upgraded shocks with perfect paint and just 58k on the clock ought to sell for about three grand, maybe four.

A few years ago, maybe. These days you can get a 2001-2002 LS1 car for that kind of money.

That,s about the same as here in SK.The old/supply story.I had to look in other Provinces when i was buying & ended up buying my 94Z28 in Manitoba. Also the dealers here were gouging us$ 2,000 when these cars were new and better prices available in Alberta, etc.

alright... well i guess when I get ready to sell the thing I'll just post it on craigslist and see what people are willing to give... seems to be the best thing since people even on this forum are all over on price ranges... I suppose if somone were looking for a car like this then they are more willing to pay higher prices. Supply and demand. Well, Thanks for your help! its greatly appreciated
