I want to hide the nitrous better under the hood... that and track down some nice tires. It's not that warm out here yet so heating the garage up for an hour is a real pain...

Hahah... yeah, for now. I'm married with 2 teenage girls but they are all home in NY and I'm working on a programming contract in Houston so I do have quite a bit of time. I can't stand to just sit in front of the TV so I just go out, stare at the car and think of what I could do to it, then go do it.

This paint job, is it a repair or something fancy?
Thanks,
Dave

nothing fancy... just getting it back in order after this young buck (22) backed his suburban into my hood etc...

I think I'm pretty much done "modding" my Z28 (w/ the exception of Tunercats, 'cause I want to learn it)... because my 17 YO daughter will be driving it SOLO soon..

That's cool! I gave my bio daughter my 383 '94 Z28 (I had 2 Z28's for about 3 years) at the beginning of the school year and at first she was the envy of all the other kids. Then her dopey friend who just got her license pulled in beside her while my daughter had the door open and was reaching in to get her books. She hit the door, just missing my daughter, and bent the door backwards. It just seemed to go downhill after that. For about 3 weeks while waiting for the body shop to get a door, my poor daughter had to enter on the passenger side and climb over the console to get to the drivers seat. Very humiliating. My daughter never did anything stupid with the car. She has seen me driving my '96 since I bought it new and she knows all about the power. She got pulled over by the cops all the time because they saw this tall good looking girl driving a hot looking z28 with Borlas. They'd make all kinds of excuses. "The light above your rear license plate is out. Let me see your drivers license and registration", "What are you doing in this area and where are you going?". It really got my daughter flustered. End the end, she opted to just trade it in a get a used Jeep Liberty. Since we live in Upstate New York, that's not a bad thing at all in the Winters we have. But she still misses the fun of the T-Tops on the Z28 when the weather was nice....
I used LT1 Edit to limit the 94 Z28 before I gave the car to my daughter

Best of luck to you and your daughter!
