Whats My car worth?

Its time to sell my 94Z not sure what its worth.
The body has 75,000 miles
Engine has about 5,000
The interior is in very good condition, it would be mint, were it not for a 1/2 tear on the driver seat.
The exterior is in good condition, no dents, a few scrtatches nothing huge.
The engine is a 383 CU (stock block (.030) over)
Eagle 3.75 crank and rods. 11.1-1 CR forged pistons
mildly ported LT-4 heads (stock LT-4 valves)
CompCams XE230/236 cam and CC987 springs and retainers.
SVO 30 LB hr injectors LT-4 (crane) alumnium roller rockers, hardened pushrods. LT-4 Intake, 58MM BBK TB (portmatched) 1-LE inake Elbow, GMS Maf, Moroso CAI, MAC 1-5/8 headers Mac Ypipe and Mac hi-flow cat, B&B Triflow 304 Stainless catback system.
All going through a SY 3500 Yank torque converter.
Many suspention mods and more I cant think of right now....
Custom box with 2 12's Stock rims, never kissed a curb.

Edit: The car is the red one with black stripes in the link in my sig.
... thats such a sad pic, all three of the other cars in that pic are totaled....

Re: Whats My car worth?

I went and looked at a car a while back. It was I think a 96 Trans Am and had a fully forged 383 stroker. All the parts were top of the line. The body was in pretty good shape and so was the interior. It came with a 200 hp shot of nitrous and a nice full cage in it, hell the thing even came with its own laptop. I think the stall was like a 4k tho. I thought it was a hell of deal when the guy said he only wanted $11,000 for it. I would imagine u could get a little more then that tho.

"What's my car worth" isn't approriate for "LT1/LT4 Engine Tech". Moving to "General F-Body Tech...." and I'm not even sure if that's correct.

Re: Whats My car worth?

What a car is worth is really a matter of finding the right buyer... Honestly, I can't see many buyers paying more for a modified LT1 than they would for a stock LS1... But if you aren't in a hurry and find the right buyer... You might get more... Unfortunately, performance mods almost never do much for the resale value of the car...
I have a good friend who has a 95 Stealth Twin Turbo that has over $30K of engine work and upgrades... She hasn't had an offer of $11K for it yet...
My guess is that to a typical buyer, it's worth $6k-$8k... If you have time, hold out for the right buyer...
