Re: What's the difference between LoudMouth 1 and 2?

um, about 1.

just kidding; (SLP) Loudmouth 1 is a bit louder than (SLP) Loudmouth 2. Someone think the original, now know at SLP as Loudmouth 1, was too loud. So the Loudmouth 2 is a bit tamer but has the same design as Loudmouth 1. Outside of the noise factor... there are no differences except if the Loudmouth is from or for an LS1, and you are trying to install on an LT1... you will need the SLP adapter hanger kit. The hanger on the LS1 loudmouth just misses the strap on the LT1 frame.

Hope I answered the question...

The kit is the same except for the muffler. The Loudmouth 1 has a resonator, while the Loudmouth 2 has a race muffler.(quieter)

I beieve there is a kit from SLP you can purchase that can be inter change the two if you wanted too. Depending on your needs. If you are at the track you can go to the LM....if you are on the street you can switch it over to the LM2.

Yeah you can, it just requires about 2 min. to undo a clamp on each side of the bullet (muffler) and switch em. Plus the kit is stainless, so the clamps or pipes won't rust together and get stuck.

Exactly. That's was one thing I really liked about the Loudmouth. When I get longtubes someday, if it really does sound like ***, I can easily swap in a LM2 bullet, and that's all there is to it...
