The best I have ever gotten in my old maro was 26mpg and that was with 3.23 gears running 70mph.

never though about a mountain effecting my gas mileage, I got 22MPG driving from Nashville to Chattanooga, which requires going up Monteagle, also driving 85 or 90 kills my mileage

You must commute about 90 miles per week each day. I can only get about 200 miles out of a tank, which is mostly city driving. But people claiming 30 mpg is pretty tough to believe. I get 14-16 mpg in the city and 22-26 mpg on the highway. You guys must know something I don't for getting better gas mileage.

Well I have I/H/E ( intake, headers, exhaust) and no cat which helps out on gas mileage! I go to school 125 miles away from home and drive back and forth almost everweekend...and pretty much flat roads (some hills) going 55-60 on HWY and 70-75 on the interstate (completely flat) I can take pictures of gas reciepts and my odometer if you guys think I'm lying?? I guess my car is just a freak...in the same way it run's 13.3 @ 107 w/ just I/H/E and free mods...and I DO have a video to prove that!

Yeah, it's called driving conservatively. If your mileage drops that much in town you must floor it from every stop sign and light you come to. I usually averaged about 20mpg in town and as stated above on the only real road trip I've used it on with straight highway driving got 26mpg.
